I ordered these candles thinking I was getting ‘4′ because that’s what it said, but I was wrong I only received 2 so from the begining I was dissapointed. Anyways the candles didn’t smell that good and they never lasted that long, I put new batteries in them and maybe lasted about 1 week.

It’s nice looking and has a soothing scent of vanilla. Alot safer to use. I like it!

This is a nice alternative, to a regular candle if you have small children, a cluttered house, or a forgetful mind. Of course, when up close, it does not look like a real candle, and it does not throw off a scent like a real candle. But it does ad some ambiance to a room. I think a couple are a good idea to have around…like for keeping in bathrooms when entertaining, and that sort of thing.

I also bought the 4 inch pillar in spiced pear and the 12 pack of votive candles. This is the most realistic of the battery operated candles.
The other 4 inch pillars (spiced pear, lavender, harvest spice) take 3 AAA batteries; this one takes 4 AA batteries, so it is much brighter. I plan to order the 6 inch pillar next.
The vanilla scent is very slight.
It’s great to have a candle on my bedside table without worrying about starting a fire.
Shipping is high, but a real wax candle is not something you can toss in an envelope. It was very well packed. I ordered several items at once, so shipping per item was more reasonable.

I bought this for my kids who are in college dorms not wanting them to burn them down. All of them not only liked them but actually use them! And they don’t burn up the batteries either. I now give them as graduation presents.
