There are many ways to use candles and other materials to create a striking and memorable centerpiece. Here are a couple of my favorites. All of them are very simple and should not put too much large strain on your bank account.

1. Mirrored Centerpiece

What you need:

A path table red or white cloth

A glass container

12 medium-sized candles

A half-length mirror, flat

floating candles

Red or white ribbon

Place the fabric table runner in the center of the table. At the top of the corridor, place the mirror of medium size. Fill the glass container with water, place candles floating in the water and light them. Create four clusters of candles. To do this, simply combine some of the sails and tie the ribbon around it. Place them around glass cup. Finally, sprinkle some rose petals on the mirror glass.

2. Assorted Candles Centerpiece

It you need:

One heart-shaped glass plate

Assortment of candles of different sizes, shapes and colors

Color ribbon

Place heart-shaped crystal in the center of the table. Tie some ribbon around the candles. Put candles in the glass plate.

3. Pillar Candle Centerpiece

What you need:

Three pillar candles of different sizes

A plane mirror

Rose petals or ivy

This is a very simple centerpiece of Valentine's Day. Arrange pillar candles in the top of the mirror. Sprinkle rose petals, or arrange ivy along the base of the candles.

4. Sand Centerpiece

What you need:

7 red and white tea light candles

Glass Bowl

enough sand to fill the bowl half-way

Fill a bowl halfway with sand. Place candles on the plate, at the top of the sand.

5. Votive Centerpiece

What you need:

An hourglass vase

1 large floating candle

7 candles and candle holders

1 mirror

A bag of clear stones

Fill the glass with water hourglass, stones clear and a floating candle. Place on top of the mirror. Surrounding the glass and glass hourglass with votive candles. If desired, use colored candles.

So there you have it, five centers candle is perfect for Valentine's Day. These centerpieces are easily created and materials are readily available at any craft store and sailing. In fact most of these materials can probably be purchased at your local Wal-Mart. These are all basic plans, add your own personal touch. Make sure your personality comes through. Choose candles with your favorite aromas. Also consider adding some kinds of flowers, foliage or a relic special family to be truly unique and special.
